Men’s Health Fair is Saturday

AMERICUS — Phoebe Sumter Medical Center hold its annual Men’s Health Fair from 7:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Student Success Center on the Georgia Southwestern State University campus.

Join us to learn how to stay “Healthy Head to Toe!”

There will be free health screenings, education booths, and door prizes. You can also snag a pair of socks (while supplies last). The speaker this year is Americus native, Dr. Jeremy Joyner, bariatric and general surgeon at Phoebe Sumter who will discuss the importance of colon cancer screenings.

The free health screenings include: prostate screening, blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol. (Please note we do recommend that attendees fast starting at midnight to ensure the most accurate results.)
