Mr. and Mrs. Keith Teasley of Americus announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Grace Teasley of Americus, to 2nd Lt. Matthew Allen Ledger of Pensacola, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ledger of Americus. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nell Purvis of Americus and Jack Teasley of Andersonville. and the late Carroll Purvis Jr. and Betty Goff Teasley.
She is a 2016 honor graduate of Southland Academy, Americus and a December 2019 candidate for graduation from Georgia College & State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority where she has served as chaplain, Georgia College’s Association of Nursing Students, Emerging Leaders, and the following honor societies: Gamma Beta Phi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Kappa Phi, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rowland of Americus and the late Jesse George Ledger and Elizabeth Parsons Ledger. He is a 2014 honor graduate of Southland Academy, an Eagle Scout, and a 2018 academic merit graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in ocean engineering. Upon graduation, he commissioned as a second lieutenant into the U.S. Marine Corps. In March 2019, he completed The Basic School for Marine Corps officers in Quantico, Virginia, and is currently enrolled in flight school at Pensacola.

The wedding will take place June 29, 2019.
