Dillard-Lee

Jody and Donna Dillard of Ellaville announce the engagement of their daughter, Payton, to David Lee, son of Michael Lee, of Americus, and Michelle Callahan, of Cornelius, N.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dillard of Ellaville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Ferguson, also of Ellaville. She attended Valdosta State University School of Speech Language Pathology and in 2018 obtained her master’s in communications science and disorders. She is currently a speech language pathologist for the PEECH preschool program for Schley and Sumter counties.
The future groom is the grandson of Michael Lee of Cobb, Kathleen Upton of Plains, and Ron Callahan of Ellendale, Minnesota, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hackett of Americus. He is also the great-grandson of Joyce Dailey of Plains, and Christine Lee of Americus. He is a 2016 graduate of South Georgia Technical College School’s electrical lineworkers program and is currently employed by Diverse Power in Cuthbert.
The couple is planning a beach wedding on Nov. 17, 2018, in Cape San Blas, Florida.
